You know how to get 77.14 miles per gallon from your car? Miscalculate it!
So I was dumb. I'm only a little disappointed because I'm still getting great mpg. This town has just enough hills to let me coast everywhere. Just when you think you need to add more gas, you don't! Plus, I hate the 'hurry up and wait' style of American driving. Why accelerate up to a stop light if no one is behind you? Sensors, some say, but I never see them in action.
If my bicycle wasn't a folding one with little-kid wheels, I would seriously consider biking to work. In the meantime, I'll unfold it, dust it off, and ride it along the Mississippi River for work breaks. Now someone please hold me to that!
